Sunday I went to Boston for the day with my fiance, Kristin. We got up early in the day (even though the game wasn't until 135, we wanted to go early and walk around Boston). We traveled into Boston on the T. First time I went without my parents and first time for Kristin on the T. It was a nice short ride. Had seats too.
When we got to Boston, we walked by Fenway and went into some souvenir shops. In one of them, there was a wall poster of Jason Varitek. Kristin wanted a picture next to it, so I took one of her. After that, we wanted to head to McGreevy's. McGreevy's is a bar that Ashley found for me and Kristin to go to. One of the owners is from the Dropkick Murphy's. We didn't know which direction to go in, so Kristin stopped and asked a fireman. He asked what number McGreevy's was on Boylston Street. Kristin told him it was 9-1-1. The fireman looked at us with a smile and said, "9-1-1, are you serious?" Kristin and I laughed and smiled and said, "Yes." I told Kristin of all people to ask, you got to ask a fireman where 911 Boylston Street is. We both thought it was funny.
McGreevy's was fun. We both had drinks (at 1030am) and breakfast. Kristin got Belgian Waffles. I got Pancakes. Almost got The Big Papi, but there was way too much food on the menu item. We both got t-shirts from there, too.
After McGreevy's, we shopped around the bar. Went to a 3-floor Best Buy. Went to Newbury Comics and a Steve Madden. After that, we headed back to Fenway for the game.
The game was ugly. Tons of bad calls all over the place. Calling strikes on Big Papi. The guy was out by a mile at the plate, but was called safe. Just an ugly game. They lost 4-2. I still had fun though cuz I was with my girl.
After the game, we went back to souvenir shops so I could get a new red Red Sox shirt, since my Manny one is no good anymore. I got a Pedroia shirt.
The ride back on the T was bad. Had to stand and the cars were packed. Kristin didn't have a bar to hang on to, so she hugged me and held on to me since I had a bar to grab. About halfway through the ride, we were able to sit down.
We got on the turnpike and got some dinner. Then we went back to Kristin's house and hung out and watched I Love Money.
Was a very long day, but I enjoyed it a lot. Can't wait to do it again.

Long Day Off
Today I had my first day off of the week. I had to get up around 730 or so, so I could go to the doctor's office to get my stitches removed. I'm still on meds, but at least those annoying stitches are gone.
After my appointment, I came back home and played Destroy All Humans: Big Willy Unleashed. That game has me addicted (especially after today). I already beat story mode. Now I'm trying to 100% the game, something I don't do often with my Wii games. Its hard to 100% games. Trying to find everything is endless (like the 100s of recipes in Paper Mario, or beating Resident Evil 4 twice, or unlocking all the karts, bikes, and racers in Mario Kart Wii, or all the boards, skaters, gear, etc in Tony Hawk games, etc). I'm even stuck on TMNT right now. I got about 60-70% of that game complete, but there are so many side missions. I have 88% complete in DAH: BWU. I played that game for 4 hours today.
Other than playing my game, I stripped wallpaper off the walls in the family room. My parents are sick of the flower print, so they want that down and the room to be repainted. I finished about half the room in about an hour and a half (not including the 30 minute set-up time, the removal of furniture, and the removal of wall hangings).
Now I'm just sitting here waiting for dinner, possibly cleaning my room. Hoping Mike is around tonight. Got him a present in Boston.

Ow, My Jaw is Killing Me
So Monday I had to get my tooth fixed. I tell you now, even though I had novocaine, it was very stressful/painful.
First, they numbed me up with 7 needle shots to the mouth. My cheek was numb up to my eyelid. Left side of my nose was numb. My jaw was numb. My tongue was numb. My lips were numb. Every single thing on the left side of my face was numb.
Then, they started to drill. They had to crack the remaining tooth in half (which was mostly beneath my gums). Then, they started to pull out my tooth roots. Boy, was that painful. They took hold of the roots and started twisting them out like they were screws in a piece of wood.
Finally, one root was out. They showed it to me. It was a bloody mess, but I saw it. The root was the size of a piece of candycorn. I should have asked to keep it. They then pulled out the rest of tooth fragments and I was done.
Now I'm doped up on Percocets, Vistaril, Cleocin, and Penicilin. The Percocets really knock me out.
I had Kristin around all day to take care of me. She could tell I was in a lot of pain. She got water for me a lot, cuz the coolness of the water made my mouth feel better. I could only eat pudding and yogurt at first. My dad made supper and I ate chicken, broccoli, and pasta. Took me the longest to eat, but at least I was eating. O yeh, also like to point out earlier in the day it took me a half hour to eat a sandwich because my mouth hurt so much.
Hope today will go better.

Joining the blogger craze
After reading up on Mike's blog, I decided to start writing my own blog (again). I used to have a Live Journal a while back, but I got bored and decided to stop writing about my life online. I wanted to start again because I actually do miss writing about my life, even though it got boring before.
Anyways, yesterday was a good day (until the end, but we'll get to that later). I had work. Work was good, but would have been better if Marcello (packager and now future prod worker) could scoop muffins faster. Took him almost all day to scoop 100# blueberry muffins, 50# bran muffins, and 25# chocolate chip muffins. He wasn't supposed to even make 50# of bran muffins! He went to make the blueberry ones and he dumped the wrong mix into the bowl. Then, he started the mix up on the highest speed and the mix and water splashed out all over the place, and on Marcello which was insanely funny. Joe, my boss/future bro-in-law, was drinking water and spit it out onto the floor cuz he couldn't stop laughing. It was really funny.
Then, Alice (bagels) came in the back and was telling us how Americo (old, italian, funny, perverted packager) was being a D-I-C-K! Claude (artisan) spelled it out and asked what that meant. He is from Africa and doesn't fully understand our phrases so we explain them when they come up. I told him that Alice was calling him that because he was being an asshole. Marcello told Claude it was another name for a penis and he was in awe. That was funny too.
So the rest of the time at work was great. Had a million things to make, but finished all of it.
As I was leaving work, I felt a tingly sensation in my mouth. I ignored it, cuz I usually get that since my tooth fell out again (had root canal done, and the replacement tooth falls out a lot).
Got home and tried napping but I couldn't fall asleep. Tried out one of my new games, The Bigs. Very difficult to get used to the controls. Pitching, I'm pretty amazng. Batting, terrible (although I hit 2 monster homeruns with big papi). Running the bases and bunting, perfect. Throwing to specific bases..........needs ton of work.
Met Kristin (fiance) at her house to go to her aunt's house to celebrate her grandfather's 75th birthday. Had a good time at her aunt's. Got made fun of, made fun of others. Good times, good times. Watched Jesse (dog) eat napkins and corn on the cob.
Then, night turned bad. That tingly feeling I had earlier in the day got way worse. Was in pain during dinner. Wanted pie, but could barely finish cake. I told Kristin what was up and I went outside to call my parents. They called my dentist (also my neighbor) and I had to go into the office at 9 at night. Found out I have an infection in my mouth and I need surgery done to get rid of it :(. The risks from this surgery is that the surgeon could possibly hit a nerve in my mouth and make my bottom lip paralyzed for the rest of my life. Makes me really sad just thinking bout that.
Hopefully I get better and this doesn't ruin my life.
